How much does TpT take? Seller fees for 2027
From January 1, 2027, TpT has two seller tiers, and they keep very different shares of each sale. Here's every fee, and what's left for you.

Premium ends on January 1, 2027. Premium sellers who don't opt in to Exclusive by December 31 become Basic.

Exclusive's $59.95 yearly fee isn't spread per sale here.
The $0.30 Basic fee is charged per resource, so it hurts most on cheap items: it's a fifth of a $1.50 sale but only 1.5% of a $20 bundle. Bundling small resources cuts it a lot.
Over a year
A seller with $5,000 in TpT sales from 1,000 resources sold keeps about $3,815 on Exclusive (after the yearly fee) and $2,450 on Basic, a gap of about $1,365. Basic only catches up if you make that back somewhere else: roughly $1,600 a year in sales on Payhip or Etsy at $5 a resource. Put in your own numbers with the Exclusive vs Basic calculator.

New Basic sellers pay a one-time $29 fee. TpT waives it for sellers who are already Premium or Basic.
